Sharp Skirts is looking to increase the ranks of women entrepreneurs launching their companies at SXSW Accelerator, happening March 14-16, 2011 in Austin. Now in its third year, SXSW Accelerator provides an outlet for companies to present their new products/services to a panel of industry experts, early adopters, and representatives from the Venture Capitalist community. If you have a product that launched after March 15, 2010 or plan to launch one by June 15, 2011, apply to launch today. Application deadline is December 10, 2010. What’s more, Sharp Skirts readers and members can waive the application fee by emailing Michelle Murdough and saying you’re a Sharp Skirt.
This is a high-wattage event that could put your company in front of some of the most influential people in technology. Past judges have included Guy Kawasaki, Paul Graham of Y Combinator, Robert Scoble, Jeff Pulver of 140 Conference, Chris Shipley of Demo, and Tom Conrad of Pandora, to name a few. Apply today – let’s get more brilliant women up on that stage!
